STAR Specialties is now a service of Vista Hill and reflects a name change that points to the expansion of our services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. We have expanded our services to support parents with a range of consultation, training and support services specifically.

ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce the grant award to Vista Hill/STAR Specialties from the National Foundation for Austim Research (NFAR). This grant award for 2012 will support our research efforts to explore the impact of the Family Intensive Training (FIT) Program. This program is an innovative approach to providing training to parents together with their children diagnosed with autism in small, multi-parent and child groups. Parents learn together with other parents how to support their child to practice new social skills and reduce problem behaviors.
